Rachel Warrens enters her second season as an assistant coach in 2027. During her first season in 2026, she helped lead the Cougars to the program's first ever CAA Championship and first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2005.
Warrens is a recent graduate from George Mason University where she earned her bachelor's degree in sport management and a minor in coaching (2023) and earned her master's degree in sport and recreation studies with a concentration in sport management (2024). Warrens helped lead George Mason to the program's first ever Atlantic 10 Championship in 2023. She was named to the All-Rookie Team and All-Conference Team in the spring of 2021. Warrens has spent the last year with the University of Tennessee as a season ticket retention representative, managing $4.4M in renewals and $113k in new sales across all ticketed sports. Warrens also worked for George Mason Athletics as a field house supervisor, growing her background in operations and management.
