Biography

Career: Concluded her career as a Cougar having played in 198 games with 186 starts, seeing action at every infield position before settling in at first base her senior year … batted .277 (144-for-520) with 28 doubles, three home runs, 65 runs scored and 67 RBI … ranks 18th in school history in hits and tied for 18th in doubles … stole 12 bases in 15 attempts … posted a fielding percentage of .969, committing only 24 errors in 770 chances.

2017 (Senior): Started 55 of 56 games and batted .284 (46-for-162) with 11 doubles, 23 runs scored, 19 RBI and three stolen bases in four attempts … ranked first in the CAA in putouts (355), total chances (385) and double plays (19) … had 11 multiple-hit games including a 3-for-4 performance with a double, run scored and two RBI in a win over Western Carolina … had another double among her two hits and knocked in two more in the following game vs. Georgia Southern and doubled for a third straight game in the CAA opener vs. Elon … had the game-winning two-base hit in the series finale vs. the Phoenix … went 5-for-11 with three runs scored and three RBI in a sweep of Drexel.

2016 (Junior): Played in 40 games with 30 starts and batted .283 (24-for-81) with seven doubles, a home run, 11 runs scored and 12 RBI while stealing two of three bases … had a season-high three hits vs. Buffalo and homered vs. Eastern Michigan.

2015 (Sophomore): Played in 49 games with 47 starts and batted .250 (33-for-132) with six doubles, a home run, 15 runs scored and 16 RBI … had six multiple-hit performances and four contests with two or more RBI … homered against nationally-ranked James Madison … had a 10-game hitting streak to begin the season.

2014 (Freshman): Started 54 times and batted .283 (41-for-145) with four doubles, a home run, 16 runs scored and 20 RBI … swiped six bases in seven attempts … named CAA Player of the Week on March 31 after a stretch in which she went 11-for-16 with three runs scored and four RBI … went 4-for-4 vs. Charleston Southern and 3-for-3 in a win over James Madison as part of her award-winning week.

High School: A 2013 graduate of Corona High School … four-year starter and team captain her senior season … named to the All-Big 8 League team each season … selected the MVP of the Stu Penter Tournament and received the school's Scholar-Athlete award in 2011 … helped guide team to the state playoffs each season … also played for the American Pastime 18 Gold and was a 2010 Fireworks All-American while receiving two MVP honors while competing at nationals in 2013.

Personal: Daughter of Ernesto and Rosa Padilla … graduated in May 2017 with a degree in sociology.
