2010: Made 38 appearances and 28 starts over the 2010 season... batted .138 in 87 at bats with a .310 slugging percentage, .228 on-base percentage, three doubles and four home runs... batted in 15 runs on the season... maintained a 1.000 fielding percentage with 141 put outs and 21 assists... was successful in her only stolen-base attempt on the season... recorded four RBIs and scored twice in two plate appearances against South Carolina State (3/30)... recorded five put outs and hit her first home run against James Madison (2/20)... scored a total of 11 runs in the three-game series at Western Carolina (4/10-4/11)... recorded 11 put outs against Furman (5/2).

Brewster High School: Four-year starter for the Bears softball program and three-year starter as a back for the field hockey team ... as a catcher and designated hitter for the softball team, Pesature was a key part of a sectional championship as a freshman, a New York State Final Four team as a sophomore and back-to-back league championships her final two years ... during her tenure at BHS she earned First-Team All-State recognition and was a two-time All-Sectional selection ... posted batting averages of .383, .519, .450 and .523 beginning her freshman year ... member of 2005 ASA Gold National Champions ... helped lead the field hockey team to three straight league titles.
Personal: Born in Manhassett, N.Y. on February 17, 1988, Katie is the daughter of William and Eileen Pesature ... family includes three brothers, two of whom attended the United States Military Academy ... Andrew, 28, attended USMA from 1998-2002 and played lacrosse for the Army Black Knights, lettering in his final three seasons, while Dan, 26, attended the Academy from 2001-05 ... third brother is James ... four-year member of the honor roll ... currently majoring in Physical Education with a concentration on teaching.
