2013: Led another prolific campaign as a junior earning her first-team all-SoCon honors… once again started all 57 games at third base hitting from either the three or four spot in the lineup… finished the season with a career-best and team-high .325 batting average… placed herself in the top 10 in the CofC record book in seven statistical categories… slammed a career-high 15 home runs on the season, third best in CofC history… totaled 27 extra-base hits for a .681 slugging percentage which also ranks third in the CofC annals… racked up 111 total bases (6th), 46 runs scored (6th), 26 walks (10th) and a .423 on-base percentage (10th)… recorded multiple hits on 12 occasions and three hits twice, including going 3-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored against Coastal Carolina on April 23… had two multiple home run games, against Georgetown on March 3 and Appalachian State on March 29… recorded multiple RBIs 13 different times with a season-best five RBIs against Georgetown on March 3… spawned a 15 game reaching-base streak from mid-March into April.
2012: Continued her reign as a big-hit threat while starting in all 60 games at third base in either the three, four or five spot in the lineup... batted .299 on the year with 21 extra-base hits, translating to a .549 slugging percentage, the 10th best mark in history at CofC... belted 11 home runs which ranks sixth in the CofC record book... drove in 37 runs on the season to lead the Cougars... led the team in walks with 21... started the season on a 13-game hit streak during which she picked up total 23 hits... had multiple hits on 13 occasions and multiple RBIs seven different times... hit a grand slam against South Carolina State on April 10... went 3-for-3 and scored a run against Akron on Feb. 17.
2011: Hodgson had a monster year and the SoCon all-freshman solidified her spot as the Cougars' third baseman and cleanup hitter all season long... maintained a .308 batting average and .558 slugging percentage, the highest on the team among everyday players... led the team in home runs with eight and amassed 26 RBIs on the season... in an all-important three-game SoCon stretch against Furman and Chattanooga, Hodgson went 6-for-10 with a home run in each game to help the Cougars to a set of victories.
Etowah High School: Four-year letterman at second and third base... led the team to its first 5-AAAAA Regional Championship in school history... named all-region in her junior and senior seasons and all-county in all four... named the 2008 Defensive Player of the Year... played in five ASA Nationals and won a national championship as a member of the East Cobb Bullets... graduated with honors and distinction... made the Honor Roll all four years... also involved in First Priority, Future Business Leaders of America and Student Ambassadors.
Personal: Daughter of Allen and Tanya Hodgson... her brother, Tyler Hodgson, currently plays football for Mars Hill College and her father, Allen Hodgson, played football for Georgia Tech from 1979-81... came to CofC for the history, academics, beach, shopping and softball program.
