CofC Wins SoCon Baseball Crown; Earns Tournament's Top Seed

The College of Charleston earned its fourth straight Southern Conference title and the top seed in next week's SoCon Baseball Tournament by winning two-of-three from Davidson this past weekend.

The Cougars (39-17, 20-7) will take on the winner of Tuesday's Furman/Wofford game at 1:00 on Wednesday at Joe Riley Park.

Charleston also won regular-season SoCon titles in 2004 and 2005. The Cougars won last year's SoCon Tournament championship beating The Citadel, 5-4, in the finals.
