College of Charleston men's basketball coach Bobby Cremins announced his recruiting class for 2009-10 on Tuesday. The class includes forward Willis Hall, center Rashad Wright and point guard Andrew Lawrence.
"This is a very solid recruiting class," said Cremins, who enters his fourth season at Charleston. “I'm looking forward to having the freshmen in practice.
Willis Hall and Rashad Wright, along with transfer Casaan Breeden, will offer immediate help in the frontcourt. Breeden hasn't played in over a year. He's very versatile and athletic. Andrew Lawrence is a talented young man with a chance to help right away as well. “

He shot 59.8 percent from the field hitting on 195 of 326 attempts. Hall's 1,545 career points where the most in school history breaking the record set by former Davidson guard Stephon Curry (1,440).
Wright (6-9, 200) played at South Kent School (Kent, Conn.) last season for coach Kelvin Jefferson. Wright averaged 10.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and four blocks per game while helping South Kent to a 26-7 record last season and a runner-up finish in the NEPSAC championship.
Lawrence (6-1, 190) prepped at Heat Academy (Martinsville, Va.) last season. Lawrence, from London, England, is captain of the Under-20 Great Britain basketball team. His father, Renaldo, played for coach Cremins at Appalachian State.
