Glover, Johnson Named Harris Teeter Student-Athletes of the Week

RoShani Glover | Track and Field | Senior | Summerville, S.C. | Sociology

At the Art and Linda Maillet Open, the CofC T&F squad pulled off one of their most-successful meets to start a season in school-history, and it was senior RoShani Glover who garnered the most accolades. Glover won the triple jump outright with a distance of 12.10m, beating out second place by a whopping 69cm. The effort broke the CofC Indoor record in the triple jump, overtaking Jelain McArthur's 11.93m mark set six years ago. Not only that, Glover's performance was an ECAC qualifying mark, thus punching her ticket to the post-season in Boston.

Cameron Johnson | Men's Basketball | Sophomore | Athens, Ga.

College of Charleston sophomore men's basketball guard Cameron Johnson (Athens, Ga.) averaged a team-leading 17.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals per game combined in close one-and two-point decisions to William & Mary (L, 61-63) and Elon (L, 65-64) in Colonial Athletic Association. He shot 62 percent from three-point range (5-for-8) and made key plays for the Cougars down the stretch versus the Tribe and Phoenix. Johnson poured in a game-high 19 points against W&M on Jan. 14 and a team-high 16 points versus Elon on Jan. 16. He has scored in double figures in 12-of-17 games played and started this season.
