COUGAR SOUND BITES
"They (Charlotte) have a really good team. They are developing and have a new coach. They really try to defend at a high level and have some talented players. Their guard (Jon Davis) averages 20 points. They have some quality wins including over Oklahoma State at Charlotte. We are excited about it. It's the next game on our schedule. It will be a real test for us and we have to be prepared for them." – CofC Head Coach Earl Grant on playing Charlotte on Saturday
"It's time to start selling this place out and provide us with the right kind of energy (to continue the win streak at TD Arena). We have some very loyal and faithful fans that show up every night. Now, we need them to bring two-or-three friends with them. It's time for the students, fans and community to help us pack TD Arena. We need their help to continue to build this program." – Coach Grant on the Cougars' 19-game home-court win streak
"It's a rotating group of guys. One night it may be Jaylen McManus. One night it may be Brevin Galloway or it could Zep Jasper or Nick Harris or a lot of other guys like Isaih Moore. You just never know who that guy is going to be. I think that helps us. When you play against a team, they don't know who it's going to be. We have different options that can help us offensively this year. Jarrell and Grant did an exceptional job of shooting a high percentage and taking some good shots and making them. I was happy to see the two older guys come out and play well." – Coach Grant on having other scoring options other than Jarrell Brantley and Grant Riller in the South Carolina State game
