GAME PREVIEW
The College of Charleston men's basketball team (2-0) and Oklahoma State (2-0) will meet in a much-anticipated rematch on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 9 p.m. (ET) at TD Arena. The game will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network. Part of a 2-for-1 series between the two schools, which started in Stillwater last season and will conclude next season in Stillwater, the Cougars look to continue their winning ways with the advantage of being home. They most recently beat USC Upstate (74-55) on Nov. 5 in the team's season opener and Georgia State (84-80), a talented squad which advanced to the NCAA Tournament the last two years, on Nov. 9 at TD Arena. For the first time in the series, the Cowboys will travel and play on Charleston's own home court, where the Cougars have won 30 of their last 32 games. Preseason Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year Grant Riller is currently on a 30-game double-digit scoring streak including back-to-back 20-point outings against the Spartans (26 points) and Panthers (23 points) this season. CofC moved up four spots to No. 13 in this week's CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 Poll. The Cougars and Cowboys are one of only 89 schools in the country, who remain unbeaten with two-or-more wins on the season, but only one team will prevail on Wednesday night.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Oklahoma State took a one-game, 2-1 lead in the all-time series after both team's last meeting (L, 70-58) in Stillwater a year ago. Prior to that contest, the Cougars and Cowboys last met in the semifinals of the Great Alaska Shootout (W, 66-58) in 2002 – CofC's lone win in the series. The program's 67-49 loss at Oklahoma State during the 1996-97 season was one of only three losses of a memorable 29-3 campaign under legendary head coach John Kresse that led to a Trans America Athletic Conference Championship tournament title and an automatic NCAA Tournament berth. CofC would rattle off 23-straight wins until falling to eventual national champion and No. 15-ranked Arizona in the NCAA Second Round in Memphis, Tenn.
LAST THREE GAMES IN SERIES
L, 70-58 (+12) on Nov. 18, 2018 in Stillwater, Okla.
W, 66-58 (+8) on Nov. 29, 2002 in Anchorage, Alaska
L, 49-67 (-18) on Dec. 18, 1996 in Stillwater, Okla.
COUGARS AGAINST THE BIG 12
CofC is 4-3 all-time against teams hailing from the Big 12 Conference including previous meetings with TCU (2-0), Baylor (1-0), Oklahoma State (1-2) and West Virginia (0-1).
IT'S RILLER TIME
Grant Riller needs 727 more points this season to break the school's all-time career scoring record held by 2011 NBA Draft Pick Andrew Goudelock, who scored 2,571 points in his career from 2007-11, which still ranks 44th all-time in NCAA history. Riller has recorded 1,845 career points to date, which ranks fifth most in school history. He is the school-record holder for most points scored in a single game (43 points versus Hofstra on 2/14/19) and was invited to the Chris Paul CP3 Elite Guard Camp this past summer. Riller could become only the third player in program history (NAIA and NCAA Division I Eras) to surpass the 2,000-point mark. He is also 177 points away from entering the Top 15 in career points in CAA history.
COFC ALL-TIME CAREER SCORING LIST

DEFEND THE HOME COURT
The Cougars currently boast a 51-11 home-court winning record (.823) over the last five years at TD Arena under head coach Earl Grant. Last year, they owned one of the nation's longest home-court winning streaks (22-consecutive games). Oklahoma State will be only the second-ever Big 12 Conference opponent to play against CofC on its home court next to TCU (W, 86-75) on Nov. 16, 2008 as part of the ESPN Charleston Classic. The Cowboys are also the first Power 5 foe to step foot in TD Arena since a preseason nationally-ranked LSU squad led by Ben Simmons (W, 70-58) on Nov. 30, 2015.
MORE WEAPONS
In its first two games of the season, CofC showed that it wasn't limited to the same offensive weapons. While Riller and junior guard Brevin Galloway both turned in double-figure performances against USC Upstate and Georgia State, the Cougars got help in the scoring column from multiple cast members – the two Jaylens – McManus and Richard recorded 13 points each versus the Panthers, while Zep Jasper (9 points) and Sam Miller (8 points and 14 rebounds) also added firepower to CofC's new arsenal against the Spartans.
GEORGIA STATE RECAP
College of Charleston 84, Georgia State 80
• For the second-straight game, College of Charleston started the lineup of Zep Jasper, Grant Riller, Brevin Galloway, Jaylen McManus and Osinachi Smart (2-0).
• With the win, College of Charleston improved to 12-4 in the all-time series with Georgia State. The Cougars have now won 12-straight games in the series since the days both programs were members of the TAAC.
• Grant Riller registered a game-high 23 points including a perfect 14-of-14 from the free throw line against Georgia State. He has now scored in double figures in 30 consecutive games dating back to the 2018-19 season. Riller also added five assists, one blocked shot and four steals. He surpassed former CofC teammate Joe Chealey (1,827 career points from 2013-18) for fifth all-time on the school's career scoring list. Riller has tabulated 1,845 career points to date. It marked his 34th career 20-point outing.
• Brevin Galloway recorded a career-high 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field including a career-high tying five 3-points versus Georgia State. It marked his 15th career game to score in double figures and second of the season.
• Jaylen Richard came off the bench and scored a season-high 13 points in 28 minutes of action versus the Panthers. It marked his second-ever career game to score in double digits.
• Jaylen McManus turned in a season-high 13 points with two big 3-pointers for the Cougars against Georgia State. It was his sixth career game in double figures.
COUGAR SOUND BITES
"It's the third game on our schedule. This summer, we knew it would be a tough three-game homestand to start the year off. We knew each and every one of those games would get tougher as we went along with the season. Now, we have a great opponent coming in here to TD Arena. They (Oklahoma State) have a good team with a great coach. It will be a great opportunity as well as a great challenge for us, but we are excited about it." – CofC Head Coach Earl Grant on the rematch with Oklahoma State
"Anytime you are playing against a quality opponent, especially on their home floor, you have to make sure you minimize the amount of times they get out in transition and get their fans excited. Some of that is taking care of the ball and slot selection. We were up six points with five minutes left in the first half. We took some tough shots against their pressure. Their athleticism is real. It's up to us to do a great job of dealing with their pressure and length. We need to make sure we get good quality shots each and every trip down the floor." – Grant on correcting what happened last year against the Cowboys on the road
"We played them pretty well. Me personally, I could have done a lot of things better. They (Oklahoma State) caught me off guard with some of the defenses they played on me. We watched a lot of film this week and I think we will be ready just like we did last year, but hopefully, with a different outcome." – Senior Guard Grant Riller on what happened last year in Stillwater
"It's a new year and new team. We have to go into it with a different way of approaching it. Obviously, they are returning a lot of key players that they had last year. They also have new pieces. Our coaches always do a good job of making sure we are well prepared to battle." – Riller on the rematch with Oklahoma State
"It's a really cool opportunity, especially for them (Oklahoma State) playing here. It's not something that happens all of the time for us. We are definitely excited." – Senior Forward Sam Miller on playing a team like Oklahoma State on national television at home
"As a team, we always take pride in having a low turnover rate. I had some careless passes and unfortunate fouls. They (Georgia State) scouted us pretty well and were playing some aggressive defense. We just need to focus on our game plan and take care of the ball – that's how we will do it." – Miller on how the team will limit their turnovers from their last game against Georgia State
