CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston baseball team will close out its season-opening home stretch this weekend with a three-game series against North Carolina A&T. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. with junior Griffin McLarty (Buckner, Ky.) taking the ball opposite North Carolina A&T senior Tim Luhn.

Weekend Preview
The Cougars come into the weekend on a high after defeating No. 19 Coastal Carolina on Wednesday, 8-5. North Carolina A&T enters the weekend with a 5-3 record following an 8-1 setback to High Point on Wednesday.

Scouting North Carolina A&T
North Carolina A&T owns a 5-3 overall mark for the season after falling to High Point, 8-1, on Wednesday. The Aggies rank 27th in the nation in ERA (2.48), and fourth in shutouts (2).

AJ Hunt leads the Aggies with two home runs, 11 RBIs, a .300 batting average, and four stolen bases. Brandon Melendez sports a team-high .647 on-base percentage in five games. Michael Johnson paces the pitching staff with a 2-0 record and a 2.08 ERA in two starts.
