- The Seahawks followed up the Cougars scoring run with a 14-4 run to take a 14-point lead and took that lead into the second quarter.
- CofC held UNCW to just 15 points but only scored nine points in the second.
- UNCW took largest lead of the first half, 20 points, into the third quarter.
- The Seahawks extended their lead to 28 points at the 5:19 mark of the third. CofC was held scoreless for a total time of six minutes during the quarter.
- The Cougars were held to just 10 points in the third quarter, shooting 4-11 from the field and 0-2 from downtown.
- The College outscored UNCW in the fourth quarter, but the deficit was just too much to overcome as the Seahawks earned the win.
