The Short Story: Cougars couldn't find their groove as the Seahawks split the regular season series while both teams move to 4-10 in conference play.

Sophomore Latrice Perkins led the Cougars in scoring with 16 points while also adding in four rebounds and three steals.
Sophomore Arynn Eady nearly recorded her sixth double-double of the season as she poured in eight points and snagged 11 rebounds.
UNCW held CofC to just 31.6 percent shooting from the field while shooting 51.9 percent themselves.

HOW IT HAPPENED

UNCW started the game on a 6-0 run before Taylor Williams knocked in a midrange jump shot to get the Cougars on the board.
The Seahawks followed up the Cougars scoring run with a 14-4 run to take a 14-point lead and took that lead into the second quarter.
CofC held UNCW to just 15 points but only scored nine points in the second.
UNCW took largest lead of the first half, 20 points, into the third quarter.
The Seahawks extended their lead to 28 points at the 5:19 mark of the third. CofC was held scoreless for a total time of six minutes during the quarter.
The Cougars were held to just 10 points in the third quarter, shooting 4-11 from the field and 0-2 from downtown.
The College outscored UNCW in the fourth quarter, but the deficit was just too much to overcome as the Seahawks earned the win.
