CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston volleyball team continues its journey through Colonial Athletic Association play in Harrisonburg, Va. this weekend with back-to-back matches against James Madison. First serve on Saturday is set for 2:00 p.m. with a 1:00 p.m. start time scheduled for Sunday's match.
LAST TIME OUT
The Cougars split a two-match series at UNCW last weekend. Charleston bested the Seahawks in four sets to open the weekend on Friday before UNCW completed the reverse sweep on Saturday to salvage a split. Senior libero Logan Manusky averaged 6.56 digs per set and committed only one reception error in 58 chances to earn her second career CAA Defensive Player of the Week honors.
THE OPPONENT
James Madison enters the weekend with a 3-1 overall record and a 2-0 mark in conference play following a sweep of UNCW on Feb. 26 and 27. The Dukes have not played since that weekend following a cancelation with VCU and the postponement of a match against Elon. James Madison is second in the CAA and 19th nationally in blocks per set (2.69) while Karis Beasley leads the conference in aces per set (0.44).
