CHARLESTON, S.C. --- Senior libero Logan Manusky moved into a tie for 10^th all-time at the College of Charleston with a match-high 21 digs, and Lexi Wierzbicki and Hazel Brown combined for 26 kills as the Cougars opened the weekend a sweep of Elon on Saturday afternoon in Colonial Athletic Association play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Cougars put down 17 kills and hit .359 in the first set to take a 1-0 lead with a 25-18 win.
Charleston edged the Phoenix, 26-24 and 29-27, in the next two frames to seal the sweep.
Wierzbicki and Brown combined for 26 of the Cougars' 44 kills.
The Cougars' blocking corps accumulated 11 denials in the match including six in the third frame.

NOTABLES

Wierzbicki led the way for Charleston with 15 kills and a .333 hitting percentage.
Brown put down 11 kills while adding seven digs and two blocks.
Manusky registered a match-high 21 digs to move into a tie for 10^th all-time at CofC with 1,331 career digs.
Logan Pope accounted for nine kills including six in the first frame.
Amani Dunston and Tori Carpenter dished out 18 and 13 assists, respectively.
Emma Falk posted a match-high six blocks while Claire Campbell added five.
