CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston volleyball team will conclude the 2020-21 regular season this weekend with back-to-back matches against Elon in Colonial Athletic Association play on Saturday and Sunday at TD Arena. The Cougars will celebrate their 2020-21 senior class prior to Sunday's match.
LAST TIME OUT
The Cougars dropped a pair of hard-fought matches to James Madison last weekend in Harrisonburg, Va. to fall to 2-4 in CAA play. Logan Manusky recorded a career-high 35 digs in Saturday's five-set setback to tie for third on the program's single-match list during the rally scoring era. Fellow senior Hazel Brown also put down a season-best 15 kills in the contest.
THE OPPONENT
Elon enters the weekend with a 3-2 record in CAA play after handing James Madison its first conference loss of the season on Wednesday. Leah Daniels leads the Phoenix attack and ranks third in the CAA with 4.18 kills per set while Natalie Cummins is fourth in the league with a .347 attack percentage.
