CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston baseball team travels to Harrisonburg, Va. this weekend for a three-game CAA series with James Madison hoping to build on a three-game winning streak. First pitch for Friday's series opener is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
Game Preview
The Cougars carry a three-game winning streak into the weekend following a 6-3 victory over Georgia Southern on Tuesday evening. The Dukes stand at 3-6 on the season with Friday's game serving as their CAA opener.
Scouting James Madison
The Dukes are 3-6 on the season and have not played since March 14 following a pair of canceled series with Elon. James Madison is batting .263 as a team and averaging 6.7 runs per game through nine games.
Travis Reifsnider is batting .273 with a team-high three homers to go along with seven RBI while Conor Hartigan has driven in a squad-best nine runs. Sunday starter Justin Showalter will make his first appearance of the season in game three of the series.
