Women's Basketball Hosts Monmouth Friday Night

CHARLESTON, S.C.- College of Charleston will begin its last home stand for the month of January starting with Monmouth Friday at 7 p.m. and William & Mary on Sunday at 2 p.m.
This is the first-time Charleston and Monmouth are facing each other. Monmouth University just joined the CAA in May of 2022.
Charleston (7-8, 2-3 CAA) won against Hofstra University on Sunday by a score of 55-47 at TD Arena. Jada Logan led the Cougars in scoring with 25 points and tied for the team's highest with six rebounds. Anika McGarity and Alexis Andrews were the other two Cougars, who recorded six rebounds. Following close behind them was Zoe McCrary with five rebounds for Charleston.
The Hawks (8-9, 3-3 CAA) lost to Towson on Sunday by a score of 63-57 on the home court. Jen Louro dropped 25 points. Belle Kranbuhl recorded eight rebounds for Monmouth.
