Gamecocks Down Cougars on Wednesday

MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – College of Charleston dropped a 10-0 decision to South Carolina on Wednesday night at Patriots Point.
Caroline Conner limited the Gamecocks to only two runs through three innings before South Carolina scored twice in the fourth and six times in the fifth.
Karlee Hughes had the only Cougar hit with a one-out single in the fourth.
Charleston opens CAA play this weekend with a three-game series against Delaware at Patriots Point. The teams meet in a doubleheader on Saturday at noon and a single contest on Sunday at the same time.
