
Cougars Draw Beavers in Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic First Round

HONOLULU, HI. - The College of Charleston men's basketball team has been matched up with Oregon State in the first round of the 2024 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic to be held December 22, 23 and 25 The eight-team tournament includes 12 games played over a four-day stretch at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu. This year marks the 15th edition of the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic.
Joining the Cougars in Hawaii are Charlotte (American Athletic), Loyola Chicago (Atlantic 10), Murray State (Missouri Valley), Nebraska (Big Ten), Oakland (Horizon), Oregon State (West Coast) and tournament host Hawai'i (Big West).
Charleston vs. Oregon State will air on ESPNU at 3:00 p.m. est on December 22. It will be the first ever meeting between the programs in the first year of the Chris Mack era at Charleston. The Cougars are paired on the same side of the bracket as Loyola Chicago and Oakland.
