CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston volleyball comes home to face UNCW Oct. 24-25 at TD Arena. Opening serves are scheduled for 6 p.m. and 2 p.m. with both matches airing live on FloCollege.

Saturday is the 'Monster Match' Halloween Day where kids are encouraged to wear their best costumes for a costume contest.

OPENING SERVE:
- Charleston swept the trip to Northeastern with a pair of four-set victories.
- The Cougars enter the weekend with an 11-7 overall record and 7-3 mark in the CAA.
- Freshman Caroline Noonan was named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week after having 14 blocks, 1.00 digs per set to go along with 20 kills and a .405 attacking percentage.
- The middle blocker is the first volleyball player since at least 2013 to secure CAA Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week honors in the same season.Â
- Graduate student Izzy Marinelli had a career-best nine digs Saturday before besting the mark with 10 digs Sunday en route to her first career double-double (13 kills, 10 digs).
- Charleston tallied 13 blocks in both wins; Marinelli, Noonan and freshman Makena Parthen each had six Saturday while Noonan stopped eight potential attacks on Sunday.
- Freshman Jumana Martin is ninth in the country with 392 digs this season and 21st with 4.82 digs per set. Both are second in the conference.
- Junior Lauren Dow has seven double doubles in the last eight matches and is one of in four players the country with at least 690 assists and 220 digs.

SCOUTING UNCW
- UNCW is 3-15 in Lo Hoyer's first season at the helm. Hannah Forbes has 152 kills this season while Coley Shiflet leads the defense with 207 digs.

SERIES HISTORY:
- Charleston is 32-11 against UNCW in the all-time series. CofC has won eight consecutive matches and 16 of the last 17 contests. During the active eight-match winning streak, the Cougars did not lose a set in the last five games.

- Charleston concludes its non-conference slate with a match on Oct. 28 at High Point. Opening serve is slated for 6 p.m. from the Millis Center.
