Izzy Marinelli had a career-high 20 kills and 17 digs as College of Charleston volleyball defeated UNCW in four sets (21-25, 25-16, 25-14, 25-22) Friday evening at TD Arena.

Julia Gnida hit .323 with 13 kills for the Cougars (14-7, 8-3 CAA) while Hannah Forbes recorded 12 kills for the Seahawks (3-16, 2-7 CAA).

CRITICAL POINTS AGAINST UNCW:
- Marinelli reached her second career double-double in as many games halfway through set three.
- The fifth year finished the match hitting .319 to go along with two blocks and a pair of service aces.
- Redshirt sophomore Deanna Dollar hit .333 with seven kills and two blocks in the victory.
- Charleston hit .394 with 14 kills in the second set.
- Junior Lauren Dow completed her eighth double-double in the last nine contests with 42 assists and 11 digs.
- Dow has reached the 40-assist mark nine times in 2025.
- Freshman Jumana Martin led the defensive attack for CofC, posting a game-best 26 digs in the winning efforts.
- Freshman Caroline Noonan had three of Charleston's seven service aces Friday.

- Charleston improves to 33-11 in the series with UNCW and are 13-3 in four-set matches.
- The Cougars have now won nine straight contests versus the Seahawks and 17 of the last 18 games.
- Martin surpassed the 400-dig mark on the campaign with 26 in the match Friday.
- Marinelli recorded her second career double-double, with both coming in consecutive matches.
- Marinelli has tallied at least 13 kills in seven of the last eight contests.
- CofC has held its opponents below a .190 attacking percentage for the 13th time in 2025.
- Charleston has had seven-or-more service aces in nine ballgames.
