BUIES CREEK, N.C. – College of Charleston volleyball defeated Campbell in four sets (25-21, 17-25, 25-20, 25-22) Friday evening at Gore Arena.

The Cougars improve to 9-6 and 3-2 in the CAA while Campbell slips to 10-4 and 2-1 in league action.

CRITICAL POINTS AGAINST CAMPBELL:
- Charleston hit .414 in the first set with 15 kills.
- Freshman Julia Gnida and graduate Izzy Marinelli led CofC with 14 kills each.
- Junior Lauren Dow recorded her ninth double-double of the season, tallying 35 assists and 15 digs.
- Freshman Jumana Martin had a game-best 17 digs.
- Marinelli and Dow registered two service aces while sophomore Cole Crews added three aces in the win.

OF NOTE:
- Charleston is 17-4 against Campbell and 4-0 in four sets.
- CofC had seven aces in the win, the seventh match this season with at least seven.
- Freshman Caroline Noonan collected five kills Friday giving her 161 for the season.
- Noonan is the first CofC true freshman with at least 160 kills in a season since Lauren Freed in 2016.
- Dow surpassed the 500-assist mark in the fourth set.
- The three service aces by Crews are a career-best for the sophomore.
- Martin has 15-plus digs in 10 matches this season.
