MT PLEASANT, S.C. – The College of Charleston baseball team returns to Patriots Point for a three-game series against Seton Hall, beginning on Friday, Feb. 21.
First pitches this weekend are scheduled for 3 p.m., 2 p.m. and 1 p.m. All Charleston home games will air live on FloCollege.

FIRST PITCH:
- The Cougars run-ruled Coastal Carolina, 15-5, in eight innings Tuesday afternoon in Conway, improving to 3-1 on the season.
- All three of Charleston's wins in 2025 have come via the run-rule.
- Through four contests, the Cougars have plated 46 runs, the most since 2008 (58).
- CofC registered 14 hits and drew a program record 16 walks in Tuesday's victory.
- Five different players registered multiple walks, led by graduate Avery Neaves' four.
- Neaves, who leads off, and senior Dariyan Pendergrass, who bats ninth, have combined to go 12-for-25, with 12 runs and 15 walks while striking out just three times.
- Freshman Landon Penfield collected his first career home run and the Cougars first long ball of the season.
- Redshirt junior Daniel Brooks threw 4.0 innings in the start against the Chanticleers, allowing just two earned runs.
GJORMAND MAKES HISTORY:
- Sam Gjormand was promoted to General Manager by head coach Chad Holbrook, the first female GM in Division I baseball and only the second individual to hold the title.
- Gjormand is also 1-of-31 females on a Division I baseball staff.
- In addition to continuing to oversee the program's budget and coordinating all travel accommodations, Gjormand will also oversee and coordinate all fundraising events and Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for the baseball program.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Charleston and Seton Hall have previously met twice in program history, splitting a doubleheader on March 15, 1997. The Pirates won the first game, 4-3, before the Cougars took game two, 6-5.
UP NEXT:
- The Cougars travel to Statesboro, Ga., for a midweek matchup against Georgia Southern on Tuesday, Feb. 24. First pitch from J.I. Clements Stadium is scheduled for 6 p.m. with the game airing live on ESPN+.
