CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston hosts its second straight CAA series when UNCW visits Patriots Point for three games beginning Friday at 5 p.m.
The teams continue the set Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at noon. Tickets are $10 for each day and can be purchased online or at the field.
Charleston will get a head start on St. Patrick's Day with a "Luck of the Cougars" theme day during the series finale with fans who wear green winning a prize. Gold coin chocolates will also be given away.
The Cougars are riding a five-game winning streak and enter the weekend as one of five teams at 3-0 in the CAA following a sweep of Hampton. UNCW started conference play by dropping all three of its games at Campbell.
Prior to a 2-1 win over SC State in the nightcap of Wednesday's doubleheader, the Cougars had scored 41 runs in their previous four games, their most in a stretch of that length since 2018. The Seahawks started 14-3, including a win over NC State, before losing their last six.
UNCW holds a 34-31 lead in the series and have won 13 of the last 15. The Seahawks took all three last season in Wilmington.
