Cougars Resume CAA Play at Stony Brook

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston plays its first road CAA series this weekend with three games at Stony Brook beginning Friday at 1 p.m.

The Cougars and Seawolves play at the same time on Saturday and conclude Sunday at noon. All three games will be streamed on FloCollege.

Charleston won its first two CAA series at Patriots Point, sweeping Hampton and taking two of three from UNCW. The Cougars (12-16 overall) are in a three-way tie for third with Elon and Monmouth, one game behind 6-0 Campbell and Delaware.

Stony Brook rebounded from a conference-opening loss at Towson to win the series before being swept at Delaware last weekend. The Seawolves are 6-14 overall and split their first home games of the season against Seton Hall and Iona this week.

The Cougars are looking for their first wins over Stony Brook, losing in the CAA Tournament in 2023 and being swept at home a year ago.
