CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston baseball lost 4-2 to The Citadel Tuesday evening at Joseph P. Riley Jr., Park.

CRITICAL POINTS AGAINST THE CITADEL:
- Redshirt junior Ethan Plyler drove in the game's first run with an RBI double to left field.
- Senior Dylan Johnson doubled the lead in the opening frame on an RBI groundout.
- The Citadel picked up its first run of the ballgame in the home half of the second before taking the lead in the fourth following back-to-back doubles.
- The Bulldogs tacked on an insurance run in the eighth to secure the victory.
OF NOTE:
- Charleston is now 62-41 against The Citadel all time.
- Senior Dariyan Pendergrass picked up his 11th multi-hit performance on Tuesday.
- Pendergrass and sophomore Brent Gibbs both swiped two bases in the setback. Pendergrass stole his 20th base of the season.
- Graduate Avery Neaves has scored a run in five consecutive games.
