MT PLEASANT, S.C. – College of Charleston baseball continues Coastal Athletic Association play versus Campbell, starting on Friday, March 28 at Patriots Point. First pitches are scheduled for 6 p.m., 2 p.m. and 1 p.m., with all home games airing live on FloCollege.
 
Saturday's contest is Sandlot Day at Patriots! Fans can get a mini poster and enjoy themed in-game content inspired by the classic baseball movie. Charleston's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will also be collecting donations of new and gently used shoes for Soles 4 Souls on Saturday.

FIRST PITCH:
- CofC lost to The Citadel, 4-2, on Tuesday.
 - Redshirt junior Ethan Plyler tallied his ninth double of the season, driving in the game's first run in the top of the first.
 - Plyler comes off winning the CAA Player of the Week award, where he batted .524 (11-for-21) with a home run, six doubles, four runs and seven RBI during the week.
 - Senior Dariyan Pendergrass stole two of Charleston's five bases in the setback, giving him 20 on the year.
 - Pendergrass is the first Cougar to steal 20 bases since 2019.
 - Graduate Avery Neaves extended his streak of scoring a run to five consecutive contests. Neaves has crossed the plate nine times over that span.
 
SERIES HISTORY:
- Charleston is 14-16 all-time against Campbell and are 7-9 at home. The Cougars took the final two games in Buies Creek in 2024 by scores of 17-2 and 12-8. The Camels last came to Patriots Point as part of home-and-home midweeks in 2015.
 
UP NEXT:
- CofC starts the month of April with a midweek contest against Charleston Southern on Tuesday. First pitch from Patriots Point is slated for 6 p.m. and fans can secure general admission tickets for just $2, if purchased online.
