MT PLEASANT, S.C. – College of Charleston baseball returns to Coastal Athletic Association play to take on conference foe UNCW for a three-game series beginning on Friday, April 25. First pitches this weekend at Patriots Point are set for 6 p.m., 2 p.m. and 1 p.m.
Saturday is Jimmy Buffett Day at the ballpark where fans can enter a raffle to win a Hawaiian themed baseball jersey. On Sunday, the first 100 fans will receive 2025 CofC Trading Cards.

FIRST PITCH:
- Charleston beat No. 21 Coastal Carolina 4-2 on Tuesday, earning the home-and-home sweep over the Chanticleers.
- CofC is one-of-three schools this season to beat Coastal twice, joining Wake Forest and Troy.
- 8 of CofC's 28 wins versus the Chanticleers have come when Coastal is ranked. All of the ranked victories have come since 2009.
- Senior Dylan Johnson recorded a double in the win, giving him eight in the last 11 contests while batting .359 over that span.
- Freshman Drew Medley made his first collegiate start against the Chanticleers, becoming first Charleston freshman whose first collegiate start came against a ranked opponent since Player Loving on April 16, 2013, against No. 14 South Carolina.Senior Davis Aiken picked up his eighth save of the season, tossing a career-high 2.0 shutout frames.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Charleston and UNCW are even in the all-time series at 24 games apiece. CofC is 15-8 at home. The Cougars took two of three during the 2024 regular season before losing twice to the Seahawks in the CAA Tournament.
- Just three of the last 14 meetings have come at Patriots Point: a three-game series in May 2023.
