
Turnaround Season Ends with Loss to Hofstra

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – College of Charleston saw its postseason run come to an end with a 3-0 loss to Hofstra at the CAA Tournament on Thursday.
The Cougars finished the season with a record of 31-25, an increase of 21 wins over the 2024 campaign. Charleston was the third seed in the tournament following a 20-7 regular season conference mark, an improvement of 16 victories from a year ago.
Mackenzie Mathis allowed six hits and did not walk a batter in six innings. Campbell Schaen worked a hitless seventh with one strikeout in relief.
