CRITICAL POINTS AGAINST SOUTH ALABAMA:
- South Alabama jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first and didn't go away, scoring runs in six of the seven frames.
- Senior Payton Frehner knocked in both runs for CofC on a two-run single in the fourth.

- Freshman Will Burgess made his collegiate debut, pinch hitting in the sixth.
