WILMINGTON, N.C. – College of Charleston baseball kicks off its eight-game road trip May 1-3 at UNCW. First pitches from Brooks Field are scheduled for 6 p.m., 4 p.m. and 2 p.m.

FIRST PITCH:
- Charleston was swept by Campbell, finishing April winners of 9 of the last 13 ballgames in the month.
- In the 15 contests, graduate Dylan Johnson batted .439 (25-for-57) with 15 runs scored, five extra-base hits, 13 RBI and a 1.125 OPS.
- Sophomore Alex LaCoste also drove in 13 runs in April while posting a .350/.412/.433 slash line.
- Redshirt senior Alex Lyon enters the weekend one appearance away from tying Carter Love for the most relief outings in program history with 95. Love achieved the mark from 2015-18.
- Lyon posted a 1.69 ERA across 16 IP and five appearances in April, striking out 11.
- The righty struck out a career-high five batters in a college-best 5.2 innings April 26 versus Campbell.
- The scheduled eight game road swing is the most consecutive road contests since 11 straight April 30-May 16 in 2021.
SERIES HISTORY:
- The Cougars hold a 26-28 record versus the Seahawks, who took two of the three games at Patriots Point in March.
- CofC won the series finale, 6-3, March 22.
- Johnson went 2-for-3 with a double, home run and three RBI while redshirt sophomore Jackson Berini drove in a pair.
