Kyle Perry is in his second season as director of basketball operations at the College of Charleston.
Perry joins the Cougars’ staff after spending the past four seasons at Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tenn. Perry served as an assistant coach during his first three seasons and as associate head coach last season. His responsibilities with the Eagles included on the floor coaching, scouting and recruiting both on an off campus.
A native a Gallatin, Tenn., Perry graduated from Georgia Tech in 2001. He was the graduate assistant coach at Tennessee Tech in 2002 working for then-head coach Jeff Lebo.
He has worked many camps including Georgia Tech, Tennessee Tech and Bob Gibbons Evaluation Camps.
While at Georgia Tech, Perry was a four-time All-ACC Academic honoree as well as the Hope Scholarship recipient from 1997-2001.
