POSTGAME QUOTES
College of Charleston Head Coach Earl Grant
On the loss …
“We have to come into these games expecting we will win. We have to eliminate any doubt in our minds. We had opportunities to drive and get to the rim tonight. We can't always foul and dig ourselves into a hole and then start playing good basketball. We have to do it for the full 40 minutes. It's disappointing. We need more competition for each position. We need more urgency. Prior to the game, we talked about the importance of defensive rebounding and free throws. We gave up 15 second-chance points. We have to learn to be tougher and do a better job.”
On the break-out game from sophomore Terrance O'Donohue …
“He (Terrance) played well and gave us a great lift when we needed it. He has been practicing a lot better and getting his body in better condition. He has trimmed down and is moving a lot better on the court. Hopefully, he can continue to do what he did for us tonight.”
