CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston hosts Stony Brook in its first CAA home series of the season beginning Friday at Patriots Point.
The Cougars and Seawolves play Friday at 5, Saturday at 1 and Sunday at noon. Admission for each game is $10 for adults and $5 for youths. Fans are alerted that parking may present a challenge with home baseball games and a Mount Pleasant Soccer Club tournament scheduled.
Saturday will be a Cougar Kids Club Day including a postgame autograph session with the players, a balloon animal artist and softball drawstring backpack giveaway.
Charleston is 1-2 in conference play after taking one of three at Delaware last weekend. The Cougars are coming off a 3-2 loss at Georgia Southern on Wednesday. Stony Brook was swept by Campbell in its opening conference series.
The teams have played only one time with Stony Brook winning, 5-3, in the CAA Tournament last season in Hempstead, N.Y.
