Cougars Host Hofstra to Conclude 2024 Campaign

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston wraps up its 2024 season with a CAA series against Hofstra beginning Thursday at 5 p.m. at Patriots Point.
The teams continue the series Friday at 3 p.m. and Saturday at noon. There is no admission charge for any of the three contests.
Thursday is First Responders Night. Colors will be presented by the Air Force ROTC Detachment 772 Color Guard Team, and a member of the Charleston Fire Department will throw out the first pitch.
The Pride holds a 16-8 lead in the series, with all but two games taking place as CAA opponents. The Cougars won the last meeting, 6-5, in the conference tournament in 2022.
Mia Dittoe had three hits in that game including a two-run triple in the ninth that gave the Cougars a 6-2 lead before they held on in the bottom of the inning.
