Cougars Host Hampton to Open CAA Slate

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston opens its CAA schedule this weekend with a three-game series against Hampton at Patriots Point.
The Cougars and Pirates meet Friday at 5 p.m. followed by games Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at noon. Tickets are $10 for each day and can be purchased online or at the field.
Sunday is Kids Day with face painting and Disney themed giveaways and content throughout the game.
Charleston (5-14) is looking for a fresh start with the beginning of conference play as well as its return to Patriots Point after playing the past six games on the road. The Pirates bring a 7-10 record into the weekend.
The Cougars are 9-2 against Hampton and have split the first two series as CAA opponents. Charleston swept the Pirates at Patriots Point in 2023 and dropped two of three on the road a year ago.
