SPARTANBURG, S.C. – College of Charleston baseball heads back to the Upstate to take on Wofford March 11. First pitch from Russell C. King Field is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. with the ballgame broadcast on ESPN+.

FIRST PITCH:
- Charleston took the series against Hofstra with a 5-4 rubber match victory Sunday. The Cougars won the opener by a score of 5-1 backed behind.
- Four of graduate Dylan Johnson's five hits last week went for extra bases, including two doubles in Sunday's win over Hofstra.
- Johnson has three career games in which he's slugged a pair of two baggers with the last two both coming against the Pride.
- Freshman Carter Harrington garnered CAA Rookie of the Week honors. Harrington recorded his first collegiate victory Friday, tossing five shutout innings versus Hofstra. Harrington lowered his season ERA to 1.88 in the win.
- Redshirt sophomore Ryan Hench enters the week ranked 14th in the country with eight appearances. Hench has a 1.08 ERA, striking out eight across 8.1 frames.
SERIES HISTORY:
- The Cougars are 41-12 versus the Terriers in the all-time series and are 19-6 as the visiting team. Charleston won last season's matchup by a score of 9-8 at Patriots Point, which was also played on March 11.
UP NEXT:
- Charleston returns to Patriots Point for a three-game series versus Stony Brook March 13-15. First pitch in the opener Friday is set for 6 p.m. All Cougar home games air live on FloCollege.
