MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – Charleston softball fell 4-3 in 10 innings to UNCW Saturday, April 25 at Patriots Point.
Charleston's overall record is now 24-26 with a 12-8 CAA record.
Jules Raymond managed five strikeouts in seven innings against the Seahawks.

- Leading off for the Cougars in the bottom of the first, Bronwyn Conroy doubled and then advanced on a wild pitch. Up next, Leela Langston hit a sacrifice fly and the Cougars scored for an early lead.
- UNCW added two in the second and third innings, but Halle Cannon responded with an RBI single in the bottom of the third to tie the game 2-2.
- Raymond entered the circle in the top of the fourth and held the Seahawks scoreless with one strikeout until the top of the sixth. With bases loaded, UNCW walked for a third run and the lead.
- With one out in the top of the seventh and Conroy on second, Langston singled for an RBI and the tying run to send the game to extra innings.
- In the top of the eighth, Raymond struck out the first two batters and made the groundout play to first for the third out.
- In the bottom of the ninth, Julia Sitterding would reach second base, but the Cougars would not connect the plays.
- UNCW tallied one in the top of the tenth for the 4-3 win at Patriots.
- Sitterding went 4-for-4 at the plate against the Seahawks.
- The Cougars had 11 hits total from six batters.
- Langston tallied two RBI, two hits and a run.
- Raymond ties her season high of five strikeouts.
