MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – Austy Miller hit a walk-off single to defeat UNCW 5-4 Sunday, April 26 in the final home game of the season at Patriots Point.
The Cougars are now 25-26 overall and 13-8 in the CAA.
Sunday's win marks the ninth walk-off of the season for Charleston and the 20th home win.

- UNCW scored two runs in the top of the first inning with four hits before Julia Sitterding threw out a Seahawk at first to end the inning.
- Charleston loaded the bases in the bottom of the first and Hailey Seymour hit a three RBI double for the lead.
- In the top of the fourth, UNCW tied the game on a throwing error by the Cougars.
- Mackenzie Mathis entered the circle in the top of the fifth and struck out the Seahawks' first batter.
- UNCW took the lead in the top of the seventh with an RBI single. Mathis was able to end the inning, stranding two Seahawks on a strikeout.
- In the bottom of the inning, Sierra Paradis lead off for Charleston and had a base hit. Sitterding made it to first on a fielder's choice and Bronwyn Conroy doubled for runners on third and second. Leela Langston sent a sacrifice fly for the tying run and Conroy advanced to third. Miller sent a single through the right side for Conroy to score the winning run for a 5-4 finish.
- Mathis had three strikeouts and moves to 13-7 on the year.
- Charleston had seven hits from six players with Conroy claiming two. The Freshman had two hits as well.
- Miller is on a six-game hitting streak, tallying nine through the stretch.
- Through April 26, Charleston is undefeated on Sundays when they wear the black uniforms.
- Charleston plays Towson on the road for the final regular season series of the year beginning Thursday, April 30. First pitch in Towson on Thursday and Friday is set for 2 p.m. while Saturday's game is set for 1 p.m.
