Bolden, Johnson Named Harris Teeter Student-Athletes of the Week

Junior Breanna Bolden averaged a double-double off the bench to help College of Charleston to a 2-0 week. Bolden averaged 14.0 points and 11.5 rebounds along with 2.5 steals in wins over Towson and William & Mary. Against the Tribe, Bolden pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds to go along with 14 points for her fifth double-double of the season. She just missed a double-double against Towson, finishing with 14 points and nine rebounds. Bolden had five steals on the week, bringing her career total to 195 to lead all active CAA players.

Sophomore guard Cameron Johnson (Athens, Ga.) led College of Charleston to a 1-1 week with a 68-61 victory over preseason No. 3 Northeastern on Jan. 28 and 65-55 road setback at UNCW on Jan. 30. Johnson extended his double-digit scoring streak to a career-best six consecutive games with a game-and career-high 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field and two key three-pointer versus the Cougars' first win over the Huskies at home since becoming a member of the CAA in July of 2013. It marked CofC's third-consecutive win in conference play. He also made a career-high tying four steals versus Northeastern. Johnson also added 10 points with two of the team's conference-high 12 steals at UNCW. For the week, he averaged a team-leading 15.5 points along with 2.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.5 blocks and 3.0 steals per game against the Huskies and Seahawks combined.
