Charleston, S.C. – College of Charleston embarks on a seven-game road stretch Friday when the Cougars visit North Carolina A&T in a doubleheader beginning at noon.
The final game of the series is scheduled for Saturday at noon but may be moved to Sunday due to expected inclement weather in the Greensboro area.
Following the set against the Aggies, Charleston plays its final non-conference game at Coastal Carolina on Tuesday and concludes the road portion of its regular season next weekend at Elon.
The Cougars have taken seven of their last nine CAA games and have won four of their five series on the year. With a record of 9-6 in league play, Charleston is in sixth place and can take a large step towards clinching a berth in the postseason with a series win in Greensboro this weekend.
The top eight teams at the end of the regular season advance to the CAA Tournament, which will be held May 9-13 in Hempstead, N.Y.
NC A&T is 5-10 in its first season in the CAA and took two of three against Hofstra and Monmouth.
