NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston softball team lost 5-0 to crosstown rival Charleston Southern Tuesday evening.
The Bucaneers stole home in the second frame to score their first run before plating three more runs in the following frame led by back-to-back doubles and an RBI single in the fifth to seal their win.
Aniz Roman hit her team-leading sixth double in the third while Kaytlin Stacey, Malaka Belser and Audri Bates contributed the Cougars' other hits.
Charleston returns home this weekend after an eight-game road stretch to host NC A&T for Senior Weekend. First pitch is set for Friday at 5:00 p.m.
