
Cougars Drop First Game of I-75 Tournament

ATLANTA, GA. – The College of Charleston fell 16-0 in five innings to Georgia Tech Thursday, February 19 in the first game of the I-75 Tournament.
CRITICAL POINTS

In the top of the first, Leela Langston singled to right field before stealing second and advancing to third on a wild pitch.

Julia Sitterding followed Langston's lead in the top of the third and singled then stole second, but the Cougars could not capitalize with baserunners in position.

Langston, Sitterding, and Abby Driscoll each recorded one hit.

Mackenzie Mathis and Jules Raymond each struck out one Yellow Jacket.

Charleston remains in Atlanta to face Purdue and Georgia Tech again Friday, February 20. The Cougars first face Purdue at 11 a.m. and Tech again at 4 p.m.
