BUIES CREEK, N.C. - The College of Charleston softball team lost 8-0 in five innings to Campbell on Sunday afternoon.
The Camels scored their first two runs in the second inning and scored in each consecutive inning. A two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth solidifed their win.
Brooke Marquez went 2-2 at the plate while Mia Dittoe and Karlee Hughes each added hits of their own.
The Cougars will be back in action Tuesday at Charleston Southern. First pitch is set for 5:00 p.m. in North Charleston.
